How to Stay in the Know…

  1. Facebook – this is where I post daily updates about the stand and markets so please make sure to follow the page >> click here.
  2. Nextdoor – I can’t figure out how to share a link to the farm’s Nextdoor page but if you are from the area, make sure to search for the farm. You should be able to find it easily.
  3. Newsletter – if you prefer email, make sure to sign up for the farm’s newsletter >> HERE. I send one email every Thursday at 9am. Alongside all the details about what’s available and where/when you’ll be able to find us, I also keep this newsletter very personal, so you get to see the behind-the-scenes of the farm and often… raw Lee ?, don’t say I didn’t warn you!
  4. TikTok – if you’d like to learn more about gardening, how to grow veggies and flowers in your own space, and if you’d like to see how we do things at the farm, this space is for you. I try to post a short gardening tutorial/tip or farm update video almost every day. Follow on TikTok >> HERE.
the kids and I at the farm

Meet the Farmers…

My dream, aside from growing food for my community, was always to raise my kids on a working farm. I believe the garden (and the barn) is THE BEST teacher, and staying close to nature is the most important thing of all. It took a while to get here… In fact, I had to hold off on farming for years because the kids were too little and I was a single mom who had to make peace with the fact that I just couldn’t do it all… But now they are old enough to be my partners in running the farm and the house, and here we are!

  • Lady Lee – the kids call me “Spawn Pint” << insert eye roll. You can read more about me here.
  • Maya – the artist, kick ass leader. She can do anything from graphic design to harvesting flowers to cooking… And thanks to this girl, I haven’t done a load of laundry in two years!
  • Nori – the independent, opinionated, animal lover. She always has a good comeback, a ” don’t mess with me ” attitude, and a (very) limited amount of patience for humans. On the other hand… She can be in nature for hours, and I didn’t need to care for the dogs for months! If there is an animal around, she is on it. She is also the baker and kitchen handler.
  • Benny – the muscle. The farm can’t run without him. You give this boy a to-do list and let him loose, he’ll take care of the rest. With a heart of gold, he truly does everything with a pure intention of caring for others.
  • Mika – a.k.a Cookie… when she is nice, or… The Hurricane… when she loses her **it. This girl has a fire inside of her and a bossy attitude. I bet she’ll grow up to be the manager of the whole operation!

We aren’t doing this alone! I want to take a moment to thank our beautiful neighbors and the rest of the community. So many show up for this farm! From tractor work to borrowing a trailer, to mowing, planting, harvesting, and everything in between, we have an amazing support system. As the farm is growing, we make sure to make it a point always to pay it forward. We are excited for what’s in store!
